Hi Rolf,
Did and extensive trawl for calculators on the Web and can
indeed confirm that you seem to have the "definitive" javascript

Comments: hello, I am am expatriate of the UK currently living in Detroit USA. My
wife is currently back in the UK for christmas and looking at potential
homes for our move back next summer. She has been telling me all about
this lovely house she has seen in a little village called Snitterfield. So
it was for me fantastic and exciting to see what the village actually looks
like after all I had heard on the phone. It gives a good impression of the
layout and size. Can't wait to try out the pub!
Unfortunately I didn't see the house that is for sale in your virtual tour.
I really enjoyed the tour and your pictures of the surrounding area are
very striking, the one of Kenilworth castle will now be used as my
backdrop on the computer.
Thanks again

Your calculator and virtual tours are very interesting. I might do something like that of my area in Florida.
I want to look at other mentions in your website when I get a moment--but I just wanted to let you I appreciate the fine work you have done on what I have observed.
Note: I tried to print out your grey text on a black background for your Tour of Village and the grey printed out in a very faint (almost cannot read it). the red text printed out well.
Not a criticism but I would like to posssibly print out a more legible copy in the future.
Best regards.

Previously, I have dropped a note into your guest book about my problem
of not being able to use your TableLayout manager with swing. Later on,

When I have replaced them by the new methods, it worked ok.
I would appreciate if you could keep me informed about further
enhancements you make on TableLayout manager. Now it is my primary
layout manager!
Taking this opportunity, I would like to thank you for implementing such
a powerful layout manager and making it publicly available.
Kind Regards,

Yes they are very good indeed! Found easily through an Alta Vista search simply for "Snitterfield" in an idle moment. Snitterfield is the home of my parents-in-law, Tim and Jean Dronsfield, of the Gables, Smiths Lane, two or three doors up fronm the pub, and I think you just about have the bottom of their drive on one of your photos. For a tyro like me this is the sort of find that makes browsing around the net worthwhile. Perhaps I'll see you in the pub when we next visit the in-laws (That is no doubt the sort of thing that makes publishing a web page a pain in the neck!)

Good Day Sir,
My name is Dion R. Olguin,
I came across your calculator back in July at the Tim Wallace Javascript
archive. It is still the best calculator on the net. In all my searching I
have not come across any calculators with such a sophisticated image map to
run calculator functions, and none of the other calculators have trig
functions. I am here to ask you for permission to use your calculator on
the Santa Monica College Chemisrty Club website. I am due to update the
site and your calculator would be an outstanding feature to share with my
fellow students.

Hi there - the Kitchen is a really neat idea - I am impressed.
The URL was taken from your signature block on uk.rec.cycling.
Sadly, I'm pretty new to net surfing (the people here keep on
expecting me to churn out work and stuff), so no real suggestions
for interesting web sites (unless you like Tori Amos).

Rolf,
I have emailed you about the family history of the Hurworths. You seem to be quite an Internet buff.
Can you tell me how to convert and htm file to a word document so that I read it sensibly as we do
on the Net? I have never seen any discussion about this very fundamental question.

Comments: I really liked your VR lounge --- some more of that
would be nice. It was like the Species movielog that
I down loaded back in the Summer where you get to work
thorough various stills from the movie as you go thro'
the plot (you had choices to make at certain decision
points) and the "what-happens-next" scenario was fun.
I have to admit the PlayBoy link came as a bit of a
surprise. Of course, you only read this for the in-
depth interviews they provide ;-) like the Johnny Dep
page ... How do they get round the issue of having
nudity pics on the net? I guess there must be random
checks by the Mary Whitehouse squaddies.
(It's actually there to see if anyone reads my links and comments
on it, but of course no-one is going to believe me for saying that! -Rolf)

1000 x slower the pictures take too long. I'll try again

I checked out your home page. I think you should lower the
horizon on the picture of you - it goes through your head. A bit of
photoshopping (?) should do it. And the picture of the house is NAFF!
