Step 1: What is CatDV?

If you're new to CatDV try these quick start shortcuts:

Step 2: Download a Free Trial

If you'd like to give CatDV a go, first check whether your computer meets the system requirements (virtually any modern Macintosh or Windows PC is likely to be compatible, though under Windows you may need to download some additional third party software - all free!). You can then download a free trial of CatDV Standard or Professional Edition for your platform.

There are two main versions of CatDV: the entry-level Standard Edition, and the Professional Edition with a number of additional features designed specifically for professional users. (You can also use CatDV with an optional server to support networked operation.)

These downloads are the actual application, but operate as a save- and print-disabled demo until you enter a valid registration code (you can request a temporary code if you want to evaluate all the features).

By installing the demo you can check to make sure there are no incompatibilities with your system or problems reading your media files before committing to purchasing CatDV.
