You can extend the capabilities of the CatDV client application by purchasing special product options depending on your specific needs:

• Cache-A Archiving Option
• CatDV MXF Option

Additionally, the CatDV client application provides a plug-in API that allows software developers to extend the capabilities of CatDV by adding new menu commands to process and update selected clips from within the application.

A number of third party plug-in products are currently available, including:

• DAX Archiving (Blu-ray and tape archive)
• Object Matrix (near-line hard disk archive)
• Atempo (archiving and backup)
