I'm having problems importing a batch list into Final Cut Pro

Make sure you are using the "Import Batch List (at ?? fps)" command, rather than attempting to import a batch list as XML or as an EDL file.

Confusingly, Final Cut Pro only enables the Import Batch List command if the browser window is foremost.
