Question

I don't do much video, would I still want to use CatDV?

Answer

Sure! Although some of its features are specific to the DV format, CatDV will catalog any media type, including stills, MP3s, Flash movies, MPEGs, even PDFs under Mac OS X. If you use a digital camera CatDV will extract the Exif information to display the date and time and camera exposure details. It will also do things like present a slide show of stills, export an HTML thumbnail catalog, compress images so you can email them easily, and provides a convenient way to print selected images.
