This might occur if you have several email addresses and try to unsubscribe from a different address. If you can't remember which address you subscribed under try looking at the mail headers of a message, especially for a line like "Received: ... for ..." as this may show your address. If you still have problems let us know and we'll search the list manually. (Note also that if the ChatDV list has too much discussion on it you might want to subscribe to catdv-announce instead, for details of new releases only.)
