Question

When I try to run CatDV I get the message "Can't find class squarebox/catdv/Applauncher" (or "Can't find main class") (Windows)

Answer

First, make sure you haven't accidentally moved the CatDV application out of the CatDV directory where you originally installed it and the other files it needs. Then make sure that your CatDV directory has a subdirectory 'lib' which contains all the '*.jar' files. Some programs may ignore subdirectories when expanding ZIP archives and place all the files in the same place, which will cause this error message to appear. (If you're using WinZip, make sure you check the "Use folder names" option!)
