Question

I want to store a long transcript but the Notes field only shows 3 lines of text

Answer

If you use the new clip details panel and have CatDV Pro you can customise the layout using the Logging > Customise Details Panel command. Define a new panel and add the Notes field to it. You will see that it expands to fill the available area so you can type in more than 3 lines without having to scroll. By the way, both the Event Markers and Notes fields are special in that they will expand to fill the available height if they are the last (or only) field on a panel.
