Sales and Support FAQ
QuestionI download a CatDV 2.x patch update but it seems to be incomplete, it only contains two files!
AnswerThat's OK, a patch usually just contains the Read Me file for that release and either one or two 'JAR' files (for Windows) or a new application (for Macintosh). These files are intended to replace the corresponding files in the directory where you initially installed CatDV. Under Windows use the Explorer to drag the new JAR file(s) (probably at least one named 'catdv.jar') into the 'lib' directory. On the Mac, drag the new application into the same folder as the original one and delete the original (typically they will differ slightly in their name, indicating the version number).
This is an old entry and might no longer be relevant.
