Question

I get "Failed to initialise QuickTime session... java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError" whenever I try to launch the demo.

Answer

There is a bug in the QuickTime 7.2.0 installer (especially if you used Software Update and also installed the QuickTime 7.1.6 Security Update at the same time) which can result in a broken QuickTime for Java installation and prevents CatDV from launching. To fix this, please download and reinstall QuickTime 7.2.0 from Apple's web site.
