Question

I'm using Flip4Mac to play WMV movies on the Mac but can't play them within CatDV

Answer

When using Flip4Mac make sure you check the "Open local files immediately" option in the Flip4Mac WMV System Preference pane. Although this causes WMV movies to take slightly longer when opening it means they will import and play properly within CatDV.
