At the time of writing CatDV 5 is still in public beta, so beta releases such as CatDV 5.0b2 have a built-in expiry date. Your license itself doesn't expire, it's just the beta version of the application you're using. We have just released CatDV 5.0b3 with a later expiry, and expect to release the non-expiring final version of 5.0 in the next week or two.
