Question

When I try to run CatDV I get an error saying that the "Swing library" is missing.

Answer

This message can occur on the Mac (and if you're using JRE 1.1.8 under Windows) if you install a CatDV patch upgrade without having previously installed a full installation. It means the version of CatDV you are running can't find the file "swingall.jar" which it normally expects to find in the "lib" folder (but see answer to the previous question).
