Yes, CatDV 5 is a Universal Binary that works natively on both Intel and PowerPC Macs. Older versions of CatDV include a mixture of Java and native code and thus fall under the category of applications that unfortunately will not work under the Rosetta translation technology. Live Capture Plus currently does not work on Intel Macs, however, so you should capture video in Final Cut or iMovie and import files into CatDV.
