CatDV 7.0 Download Page

Download the appropriate version of CatDV for your platform and follow the instructions in the Read Me files. These downloads are the real application and depend on a registration code to function (without a registration CatDV will operate as a free time- and feature-limited demo). Codes are issued on-line once you purchase a license.

A note about the public beta

CatDV 7.0 is currently available as a public beta. While functionally stable, there are still some minor cosmetic issues affecting Mac OS X Leopard, and the online help documentation has not yet been fully updated. CatDV 7.0 general release is planned for early July 2008.

If you purchase or upgrade CatDV today you will receive a license code that works with either CatDV 6 or CatDV 7. If you purchased CatDV on or after March 10, 2008 your license will automatically be valid for CatDV 7 under our free 30 day upgrade policy, otherwise you will need to purchase an upgrade to use CatDV 7. Discounted upgrades for existing users are available from our online store.

(The PDF manual was originally written for CatDV 3 but still provides a useful introduction to CatDV, while the HTML Reference Guide, which is included with the application download, is more up to date but somewhat terser in style.)
