Telephone Support?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer free technical support by telephone, whether for pre- or post-sales enquiries:

  • With users all round the world in different timezones, email is usually the most convenient form of communication for all concerned.
  • Often, support queries need to be accompanied by a log file or screen shot, for which email is required. Likewise, our response may include URLs, or specific technical details, which are much easier to transmit accurately by email than by dictating down a phone.
  • We are a small company, offering a very low cost product, and our prices would have to rise substantially to justify a dedicated telephone support line.
  • It is easy for us to forward an email to the person with the most appropriate knowledge of an issue. Often you will get a detailed email response from the actual developer who worked on a piece of functionality!

We do offer telephone support, but only as part of a paid-for technical support incident priced at £95+VAT per incident, or under an annual maintenance agreement.

Instead, we encourage you to use our web and email based technical support resources, including free email support for any issues which aren't adequately covered by the FAQ.

We aim to answer all support emails within 1-2 working days. Simple queries which we can answer quickly will often be answered much quicker, while at busy times such as after a new release it may take a little longer.
