CatDV Client Application
Use the CatDV Pro desktop application as a client to access the Workgroup or Enterprise Server.

Gives you full access to regular features of the CatDV Pro application, such as advanced logging, capture and metadata extraction capabilities.

Client can be used standalone or connected to the CatDV server.

When used with the server adds a "Server" menu, with commands to publish catalogs to the server, browse the clips on the server, or perform advanced queries against the shared database.

Providing even greater flexibility to choose just those features you need, the client now comes in three versions, each with different levels of access:
- Professional Edition Client
- Enterprise Client
- Browse Only Client
The CatDV 7.0 Enterprise Client is an enhanced version of the Professional Edition client. It is primarily designed to support the new multi-user capabilities of the Enterprise Server, though it can also be used with the Workgroup Server:

- Provides new audit log and library management screens (when used with either Workgroup or Enterprise Server)
- Supports optional barcode reader
- Provides access control and user management (when used with Enterprise Server only)

- Switch between different preference settings (such as view definitions or pick list values) depending on which production you are currently working on

The new browse-only client is ideal for when you need to let producers browse and search the database without requiring full ingest and logging capability:
